Skip the empty flats

Flat vacant this month? Lift on the ground floor nobody uses? Deselect them from that bill — the split adjusts, and old bills never change.

Monthly statements

Opening balance, charges, payments, closing balance — per flat, per month. Share it to WhatsApp in one tap.

Start with electricity, water, gas, guard, cleaning and maintenance — then add whatever your building actually pays for.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

Setting up a building takes about five minutes. After that it is just adding bills as they arrive.

Create the building

Add the flats and their labels — 1-A, 2-B, Room 4. Send the invite code to your residents.

Add each bill

Title, amount, category, and who it applies to. Baantlo works out every flat's share instantly.

Record payments

Mark what comes in — full or partial. Balances update, statements build themselves.

The ledger

Every rupee is accounted for, every month

Baantlo keeps a running balance per flat instead of tying payments to individual bills. Money is stored in whole paisa — never a floating-point number — so totals never drift.

Partial payments reduce the balance and the remainder carries forward.
New residents are never charged for bills raised before they joined.
Someone moves out with dues? Their balance stays visible in the report.
Edit a bill and every share recalculates — the ledger stays correct.

Things people ask

Do all the residents need the app?

No. One admin can run the whole building and share the monthly statement over WhatsApp. Residents who install it get their own live balance instead of waiting for a message.

Can bills be split unequally?

Not yet — Baantlo splits evenly among the flats you select for that bill. In practice that covers most shared utilities, because you choose exactly who a bill applies to. Weighted splits are on the list.

What if someone pays only half?

Record whatever came in. The rest stays on their balance and carries into next month automatically — the same way a shopkeeper's khata works.

Does Baantlo collect the money?

No. Payments happen the way they already do — cash, bank transfer, Easypaisa, JazzCash. Baantlo is the record of who paid what, not a payment processor.

Which currency does it use?

Each building picks its own currency, with PKR as the default. Amounts are stored in whole paisa so the totals never drift.

What does it cost?

Baantlo is free while we are in early access. If paid features arrive later, splitting bills for your building will stay free.
